Happy Anniversary to us!

Welcome to the 25th Anniversary year of the Museum of Abernethy, and the first of several announcements about what we are up to to celebrate!

We are delighted to announce the young peoples activity days we have planned for this year. Making the most of our beautiful garden space to learn about the environment, plant and food heritage of Abernethy.

Suitable for all ages:

Spring Nests (19/4/2025) Building birds nests for your easter eggs

Wildflower seed bombs (31/5/2025) Guerrilla gardening for bees and butterflies

Spinning and Weaving (19/7/2025) Learn about flax and wool spinning, and weave your own bookmark

Berries and Butter (09/8/2025) Learn how butter was made in the past, and discover the DNA of fruit.

Autumn crafts (27/09/2025) Leaf printing and other Autumn crafts

Bird Seed Cakes (October Holidays date tbc) Make fantastic treats for your feathered garden visitors.
